We are famous! By "we" I mean foto source, the buying group that Photo Express foto source belongs to (which is why our camera prices are so awesome!). We pooled the resources of over 200 independent camera stores across Canada to produce these great commercials that will run on your TV from Oct 25 - Nov 28, 2010.
Here is a sneak preview (just click the image below) of just one of the ads (there are many). You will see these commercials on TSN, HGTV, W Network, Food Network and more.
I don't know about you, but I am so done with the havoc that Cancer is wreaking on the people that I love! So I jump at any opportunity to donate to the cause, so that we can discover a cure and be done with this horrible disease.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time to visit my friend's 'CIBC Run for the Cure' web page and consider supporting her in her endeavour. Colleen has miraculously survived 10 years with cancer, and is continuing to be victorious in her battle! She is a very special & dear friend of mine, and I would love it if you'd consider reading about her story and supporting her fundraising efforts by reading the info below and following the links.
Thanks so much,
year I have registered a team to do the CIBC Run for the Cure on
Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 and I am inviting you to join
the attached links to my personal page and/or the team page,
to sign up. If that's not your thing you can sponsor me
or the team, just follow the same links. If you aren't able
to do that then maybe you could donate something, or you know
someone who would be willing to donate something that I could use
for a raffle or a silent auction to raise money. If none of
the above is manageable for you then maybe a good fundraising
idea? Or just cheer me and the team on, you can even do that
by e-mail! Anything and everything will make a

We had an absolute blast hosting a Flat Bunny Tea Party at Photo Express. Thank you Barb for entering the Flat Bunny contest so that we could be a part of the fun! Flat Bunny came dressed in her best pearls and fancy hat for a fancy feast! Here are some pics of our time together...
And unbeknown to us, Flat Bunny is very social! She even stopped by the Sushi restaurant next door to say hi to Michael & Sue, the owners...they make great sushi by the way, for any of you looking for a new restaurant to check out!
Stay tuned to Flat Bunny's blog for an update on her visit to PE!
really worked for me last summer, and I know that a lot of you said the
same, so guess what?! We get to do it again! Yaaaaayyyyyy!
Summer is here, and with it a more relaxed schedule.
Even though summer is very busy with activities, it is still important to make
time to scrapbook. To help you, I am
"challenging" you to join me in making a commitment to get one double page
layout per week of summer done.
This means that every week this
summer, you will sit down and create a layout. (If you know you are going away
one week, then create 2 layouts the week before.) The layout doesn't have to be
fancy, and if you preplan your pages, shouldn't take more than about an hour.
(Of course if you want to do it fancier, that is great too).
What this means is that by the end of summer (Labour
Day), you will have at least 10 layouts created. (If you do more that is
awesome! 10 is the minimum). Challenge one of your friends to join you, and
maybe even get together every week to create the layout, making it a social
event too. (Complete with lemonade and watermelon!)
Once you have completed your "Commitment Sheet"
(available at the PE demo bar - or you can print one off here.) and have 10 PE staff signatures on it, enter it
to win a $100 Prize basket. There is a maximum of 3 weeks initialed in
any one visit. (To allow for holidays, but to also ensure that you don't wait
until the end of summer and stress out over getting 10 layouts done in one
If you are a Facebook person, you can go to PE's Facebook page and upload your completed pages to our wall! This way we can whoop and holler and encourage you as you create! If
you are like me and have no clue how to do this, bring us your layout
and we'll scan it and upload it for you. Everyone sharing gives
If you are one of our out of town friends, you can still
participate, by emailing us a scan/photo of your layout each week to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will keep a commitment
sheet on hand for you to initial off on, and we can email you a copy also for
you to keep track with.
"cheat" yourself, and submit layouts you have previously done. Use this
challenge to create some more layouts that will be cherished for many years to
come and to get another story told. There is space on your Commitment
card to write down some ideas for layouts each week so you can preplan what
supplies and photos you need.

yes, you can still participate even if you don't want to bring it in
