Next Saturday, Oct 13th, PE is hosting a Product Lighting & Photography Demo in the store.

Grace was a long-time employee and member of the Photo Express family.  Recently, she lost her second courageous battle with cancer.  Grace touched us all with her winning smile, her gentle manner and her positive outlook on life.  We will miss you, Grace.

3 Steps to a Pain-Free Passport

Here are 3 simple steps to ensure your Canadian Passport application goes as well as possible:

1. Check the Passport Canada website at http://www.ppt.gc.ca/ for the latest information on wait times.  The site also has a helpful checklist for avoiding common errors.
2. Have your passport photos taken at Photo Express foto source.  First, your photos will have the best chance of being accepted, because our staff are trained photographic professionals who know what is acceptable to Passport Canada.  Second, in the rare event of a rejected photo taken at PE, we will retake the photo free of charge, guaranteed.  You do not want your application to be rejected because of the photos, because it means twice the time and twice the lineups.
3. If your application is not urgent, go to a Service Canada Centre, instead of the passport office.  These Centres only recently started accepting passport applications, and much of the general public does not know this yet.  And guess what, the Service Canada Centre in Maple Ridge is now accepting non-urgent applications (ie. you are not traveling in the next 45 days)!
