Leyla, a dear PE friend, has a best friend with a 7 year old son who has Leukemia. He is a very rare tissue type and they haven't found a match for a bone marrow transplant. Click here to see the adorable Benjamin and his story. Download pastedGraphic.tiff
I'm urging you to go to www.blood.ca and register to become a Bone Marrow donor. I did this years ago and it is very quick and easy. You will get a call in a few days, to go down for a blood test and that is it. Unless of course, you are able to save someone's life by donating your bone marrow. What an honour that would be! Also, please forward this message on to everyone you know no matter where they live in the world. The registry is international and this little boys match could be in another part of the world. You will also be helping countless others who are waiting for a match.
Think of how much this could mean to someone. Think of how you would feel if Benjamin was your child. Please register. You could save a life.

Michele - I just wanted to say thanks for posting this information. Giving blood or signing up as a bone marrow match is such a good, and relatively easy way, to help another. We are not always fortunate enough to help out by providing cash so what better way. You've reminded me that it was about time that I donated blood again and at the same time, if I am able, to list as a marrow donor. Thanks.
Keep up the good work! Your commitment to charity and to inspiring others is awesome.

Glad I was able to remind you. You are so right in that we can't always provide cash, but there are so many others ways we can help make the world a better place. And this is so easy to do, and could save someone's life.
Thanks for the compliments! :)
