I just wanted to share a little project that made using Basic Grey's Granola line, and some of the dies from our stores Accucut machine. (Remember it is free to use with paper/acrylic purchase at PE. Come in and check out the new binders with all the dies in them!)
All that I needed to make this fun little book was a few sheets of plastic (which we sell loose), and a little bit of paper. I cut the pages of the book from the plastic, and because of careful placement, I was also able to get some snowflakes out of my scraps. I was able to make a six page album from only two sheets of plastic.
I embellished my book with Glitter Ritz (in Stardust), Glimmer Mist (in Pearl), and white Staz-on ink. I found that the Glimmer Mist works best on plastic if you use a really light hand. Too much and it puddles, and then flakes off. You can always do multiple coats if you want a heavier looking mist (it dries fairly quickly between coats). This was my first time making a clear album and I had a lot of fun with it.
Enjoy!
Karen
