Sometimes, all you need for a layout are 2 fabulous pictures. In this case, a 5 x 7 on the left, and an 8 x 10 on the right. I think we often get stuck in the rut of only printing our pictures 4 x 6 size. With foto Depot, you have so many options and can print from wallet all the way up to massive cover your wall size (and that is the club member special for March!)
As
this paper is so fabulous in and of itself, it didn't require much in the way of
embellishments. I loved the simplicity of the rub ons and how well they
fit with my theme.
The
raised circles were achieved by using punches in two different, nesting
sizes: The larger punch for the cardstock background, and then the smaller
punch for the patterned paper. A pop dot was used to adhere them to
the layout.
Using
glaze over diecut letters makes them 'pop out', without looking too glitzy,
shiny.
Tip:
Don't
be put off by paper that has a very busy, repeating pattern! If used in
moderation, it won't be overwhelming. Also, it is perfect for creating
punched out embellishments, layered over cardstock. Not only does it carry
the theme on, it also draws the eye around the layout, which is Rule #1,
according to the expert, Tanya!
Enjoy,
