Hollywood Glamour Crop Thank You

Big thanks to everyone who attended the B&W Hollywood Glamour VIP crop yesterday! It was great spending the entire day and evening with you. I always love seeing your costumes and the layouts you work on during the day. And this time one group even decorated their table complete with candles and bling!

Thank you for your generosity to the foodbank.  I completely forgot to take a photo of the mounds and mounds and mounds of food you generously donated. It will be put to good use and is extremely appreciated. And the appetizers you brought were yummy.  One of my favourites was the caramel, chocolate popcorn that Marilee made. She has agreed to share the recipe with us and I'll post it on the blog once she does. She also made the most adorable penguins out of olives and many of you asked to have a photo posted so you could recreate them.  So here it is.

An event this size doesn't happen without lots of help from many people. (This is the part called the "speech")

Big thanks to Rhonda for the fabulous Glam shots she took of everyone (to see your photos and order the ones you wish to order, visit www.pestudio.ca, click on view and order photos and the password is crop2009), and our "paparazzi" Mikaela and Iva for taking the red carpet photos of you strutting your stuff. Big thanks to everyone who helped set up the gym on friday night and stuff all the fabulous swag bags.  It took way longer than we thought (because they were so stuffed with product!) and I really appreciate the help. (We even had a few husbands in there helping us!)

 A huge thank you to Andrea from QuicKutz for flying in from Utah to demo the wonderful Silhouette machine. She worked tirelessly all day showing you what this great machine can do. And thanks to QuicKutz for generously donating over $1300 worth of QuicKutz alphabets for prizes! And great job Tam helping her out all day.

Thanks to Helen for the wonderful lasagna and everyone in the kitchen who made sure that they all got cooked and served on time. And thanks to my mom and husband for getting the shopping done for the food.

Congratulations to Connie who won the semi grand prize (and just to make sure that everyone knows, Connie is not a PE staff member, so is eligible to win the prizes.  She is a customer who generously volunteers every year to help out at the crop.)

Thank you to my team - Kate, Renee, Cristina, Tanya, Karen, Jo, Nicole, and Kerry who all did a great job with the tasks they had and to my customers and friends Connie, Doreen, Kristina, Muriel (aka my mom), Rae-Anne, Rose,Tamara, Tammy, and Val whose help makes all of this possible.

Michele, again what a fabulous crop! The swag bags were amazing - I think the best so far! I loved the projects - I actually got both layouts and the cards done this year! Thank you for all your time and effort that goes into these crops!
