I know you are busy, and when you hear me harp at how you have to back up your photos (and how easy Foto Depot is to use and its free!) and print them, you think "ya ya, I'll get to that eventually". Well, let me tell you what just happened to my friend and how glad she is that she took the time to actually do what I'm talking about. (And PLEASE, take some time each day to save your precious pictures too!)
Thank goodness my friend Kristina actually listened to my harping about backing up your photos to foto depot and printing them.
They have a computer that is only about a year old and guess what?! The hard drive crashed!!!!(Yup it isn't a matter of IF your hard drive crashes, it is a matter of WHEN your hard drive crashes). Luckily, she took some time over the last few months, and uploaded all her photos to PE's free online backup called Foto Depot. She has also printed many of them. The only pictures she had not uploaded to Foto Depot was the last batch she had quickly put on her computer because her card was full and she needed to take some pictures. So she has lost those photos (because she had not backed them up or printed them), but ALL of her other photos are safe and sound on Foto Depot. She can access them from anywhere she has an internet connection, and can then print them, and Foto Depot will also be able to send her a backup copy of all her photos she has uploaded. Now she may be able to get the lost photos recovered if her hard drive can be recovered, but that is not a for sure thing.
She called me when her computer went dark, and was so thankful that she had listened to me and now hasn't lost a huge portion of her memories.
Another way PE can help save your memories is with the new Click Free Backup DVD's. Just pop it in your computer and it finds your photos and videos and backs them up. Easy Peasy.
Will you be okay or devastated when your hard drive crashes?

p.s. and right now the Club Member Special for the whole month of May is prepaid print cards for only $19!!!!! That give you 100 high quality prints for only 19 cents ea! Stock up on the cards as there is no expiry on them. The best way to save and enjoy a picture is a print.
p.p.s. Please ask us any questions you have if you are unsure how to use Foto Depot. It is easy to use, and anyone in the store can help you. If you click on the link on the right of the blog called Foto Depot Tips, you will also find short little videos to show you how to use it.
PLEASE PRINT AND BACKUP YOUR PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!
I just checked out the videos for foto depot. Ron great job!! Have you done a video for how to edit ie: sepia, snow, captions, etc. How do you let others see your pics?
Thanks a lot,
Carolyn
