This is a tribute to my current Kindergarten class using the new Teacher's Pet line and of course my Silhouette. I used the outline of the frame and used the outside border. Instead of using the "a" from the phrase I tailored it with the school theme product and substituted with a brad that said A*. Under the large 5x7photo of the girl hula hooping on 50th day is a hidden panel of journalling.

sketches are arranged by size, with a section of birthday sentiments
and quotes to help complete the cards. The designs are flexible and can
be rotated, flipped, or adapted to varying tastes and personalities,
with inspirational cards, basic designs and classic cards.
Using the provided sketches, card makers can alter different elements from the basic card design, which makes card making easier and more individualized. Card sketches come in four different sizes, with varying shapes and full-color illustrations.

Hi all, this is Kate. I want to share a story with you about my wonderful co-worker Kerry, who is the mastermind behind many gorgeous creations throughout the store! Many months ago, a short while after she started working with us, Kerry made some comment like, "Ugh...I really can't scrapbook" - she saw herself as a cardmaker only. Well, after many persistent proddings from her team, Kerry finally joined the 'dark side' and started doing layouts. From her very first layout, we knew she had an amazing talent. And each layout just kept getting better and better! I'm sure you've seen several of her layouts in the store as well as on the blog. One of my all time favourites of hers is this tree layout...

These were the perfect shapes to take center stage of my layout. I used the same piece of cardstock to cut out all the brown die cuts on my Silhouette. One set up and presto...All done!! I also used the scallop border shape to accent a few photos. "Zoo" was Franklin Gothic Heavy from my True Type fonts, and then I used Rollerskate 4x8 alphabet for "Seattle".
