My friend Deb is crazy about Halloween. Oct 31st is her absolutely favourite day of the year! So every year she puts concerted effort into creating the most amazing Halloween decorations. I'm talkin' over-the-top kinda stuff that I can't even begin to compete with....until this year :-)
While at her house this past week, she showed me one of her yearly halloween purchases: a craft idea magazine. And in it was a bedazzled pumpkin! I thought to myself, "Hey, I can do that!"
So I gathered some supplies, purchased a foam pumpkin, and made this decorated pumpkin for our Fall section in the store. It was so super easy! I used Prima adhesive bling designs and Basic Grey rub ons. You could also use any of the "Bling It On" designs from Basic grey (come see their fall/halloween series!) or the myriad of rub ons and stickers that you'll find in our halloween section. And the best part for me is I can create decorations that are more on the 'elegant' side and less on the 'creepy' side, which better suits my style :-)
