Have you heard about the new digital art CD's from Hero Arts? They're chock full of over 100 embellishments that can be printed for all your papercrafting projects. You can re-size them any size you need for your project, print them out on cardstock, and then colour them in with your Copic markers or other colouring tools. Whether you're new to digital or just pressed for time, Hero Arts digital images are quick and easy to work with.No need for a expensive software program with this technique, just print your images from Word.
Using images in Word:
- Open up a new Word document.
- Click "Insert".
- Click "Picture".
- Find your digital kit, click "Open"
- Locate the Stamps folder, click "Open".
- The picture will now be inserted into your word document.
- Click on the image and drag the corner to re-size to your liking. Tip: Use the ruler on the screen as a guide for the size you wish to create.
Creating a print Document in Photoshop:
- Create a NEW project, size to 8.5 x 11" at 300 dpi.
- Open images from the Stamps folder contained in the digital kit.
- Select the image and click "open"
- Resize the image by selecting "Edit", "Image Size". Type the desired size in inches.
- To duplicate your image, find your layers to the right of the screen, right click on the image layer, select "duplicate Layer". Click on the new image layer, move to the desired area on your project.
- Repeat the duplicate layer until you have the desired amount of images to work with.
Printing Tips
- Select "print" from the program you are working in. When you get to your printer software screen, select "best quality" or "photo".
- Select semi-gloss photo paper 8.5"x11".
- Use a smooth bright white cardstock as your printer paper.
