What do you do when you realize it is midnight and you need 5 thank you presents for dance teachers the next morning? (besides panic!). You go to your stash of stuff and you create these cute Thank You card DVD tins. (And you are also thankful that your friend Doreen is over scrapping with you so she can help you make them!) They are fast and easy and everyone can always use thank you cards. Great for a hostess gift also. The pics aren't the greatest, but that late at night, they are what they are lol.
1 metal dvd tin, 2 sheets of patterned paper, 5 sheets of cardstock, some bling, and my Just Rite monogram stamp set. 2 circle punches, foam tabs.
For the cover, trim a 5x7 piece of pattern paper, adhere with a strong adhesive. Cut a 1" x5" cardstock strip, stamp thanks on it, and attach bling on either side.
For the cards, Create 5x7 card bases. Cut pattern paper to 4.75 x 6.75. I used my threading water border punch (one of my fav's) on the bottom to scallop it. Attach to card. Adhere a 1"x5" cardstock strip. I put each teachers monogram on white cardstock, then punched it out with a circle punch. Use a circle punch one size up to punch a coordinating cardstock circle. layer onto card with foam tape.
Quick and easy.
Of course, the cards could be thank you cards, or just because cards, or birthday cards, or all occasion cards. You probably have all you need in your supplies.
Here are the others I made.
