Hi everyone, my Sister in law Elaine has a wonderful company called Easy Daysies. She has created a magnetic scheduling system that is great for kids, especially young ones, and children (and adults) with challenges. It helps to know what is happening in the day and the routine etc. It is used at home, in schools, in day cares and more. She is going to be at Chapters in Coquitlam on Sat and Sun from 12-4 as the "author of the day". To sell in Chapters (which is a fabulous market for her), you have to get the attention of the buyers who buy for the chain. The general manager of the Coq store loves her product, but can't buy it for the store. The buying comes from Toronto.  So he has offered her these 2 spots to sell her products. If there is commotion and lots of sales, she has a great chance of getting picked up by Chapters. She is in many specialty stores and toy stores throughout North America already, and Chapters would be a great addition.

Please forward this to anyone you know who has young children, or knows young children (they make awesome gifts!), or is a teacher or works with special needs children. And join Elaine on Sat or Sun.

Also, very exciting, if you watch TV, watch her and her family on Dragon's Den on Sept 28th.  They will be first on the show and it will be very exciting!

Lost Dog at Photo Express

Have you lost a dog?  We found one here at Photo Express - locked in our playroom!  Please call us and describe her home and let us know her name so we can get her back to her rightful owner!  She seems awfully lonely and she keeps sneaking into our scrapbook drawer and eating our snacks!

REGISTRATION DAY IS MAY 8, 2011 AT 9:00 AM **DON'T MISS IT!**   Crop seats sold out in 15 minutes in 2010. To avoid disappointment be ready at your computer at 9:00 AM on May 8 when crop seats are released for sale.   THIS IS THE LINK TO THE REGISTRATION PAGE. Bookmark it. Mark your calendars. Put a reminder in your iphone. Call your friends to remind them to remind you. Do what you need to do to avoid disappointment! Seating is limited. Don't forget!

FREQUENTLY ASKED REGISTRATION QUESTIONS: 1. What's the date again? Is it happening at the same place? BC Scrapbooking Crop for Kids 2011 September 30 - October 2, 2011 Ramada Plaza Conference Centre Abbotsford, BC 2. How much is it? How do I pay you? Crop admission (crop seat registration) for the weekend is $105. Payment is by cheque or PayPal and is due in full within 10 days of registration. Payment is nonrefundable.   Click HEREto see all the great stuff included in your admission. Admission does not include accommodation. Contact the Ramada to reserve a room. Your are responsible for your own meals. 3. When do we register for classes? Class registration will open in June. Be sure to read your emails and the blog and website for up to date class information. Classes are not included in the registration fee. 4. What if I'm not going to be home when it's time to register? You can register online from any computer. Or you can have someone register for you under your name. Make sure they have your complete contact info when filling out the online registration.   5.  My friend wants me to register for her, can I register for more than one seat at a time? No. To make it fair for everyone you must purchase ONE SEAT AT A TIME.  Purchase your first seat and complete the transaction and then go back in and register for the second seat.  Make sure you have complete contact information ready for anyone you're registering for the event.   Attempts to register for more than one seat in a single transaction will result in your order immediately being cancelled.   6. What if I just want to take classes and not crop? The classes are going to be awesome so we'd love it if you filled your days with classes! The best option for you is the Class Pass.  It gets you advance class registration along with crop attendees, and most of the perks of a crop seat, minus the actual crop seat. Cutest Baby Contest Winners 2011!

The 17th Annual "Cutest Little Baby" Photo Contest has wrapped up, with 370 cute little kids getting their portraits taken!

The voting was closer than ever, with 45% of the kids entered receiveing at least one top-5 vote.  So yes, you can all be assured that you have adorable babies!  As a testament to the consistent great work by our photographers, Rhonda and Marion, two of the award winning babies were #2 and #368.  I don't know how they keep their sanity, they are special people!

This year, we handed out a whopping 21 prizes, worth over $700!  A special thanks goes out to our sponsors, for providing great prizes:

Celebrate Winter with Christmas Classabration - a few spots left and kits available.

Christmas is approaching faster than we think!  Join us for some great mini classes and get a head start on your Christmas gift giving, cards, and layouts.

All 10 classes are offered on Saturday November 13th, and 5 of them are repeated on Friday November 12th. Each class is 30 minutes and only $5! Die Cut Extravaganza Saturday November 6th - still a few spots left

You don't miss this one! Whether you are a die cutting expert or have no idea what die cutting is, this day will have something for you. You will be exploring the world of QuicKutz, Sizzix, Spellbinders, Accucut, and Cuttlebug. Demos, projects, sales, inspiration and more!

We are famous!  By "we" I mean foto source, the buying group that Photo Express foto source belongs to (which is why our camera prices are so awesome!).  We pooled the resources of over 200 independent camera stores across Canada to produce these great commercials that will run on your TV from Oct 25 - Nov 28, 2010.
